How to become a verified writer
When you sign up as a freelance writer at Wordapp you obviously want to become a verified writer and see all projects available on Wordapp. Becoming a verified writer proves you have the necessary language and writing skills to work on our projects.
Getting started is simple and fast. It takes most writers 5-6 hours to become a verified writer, where the first 3 hours are the hardest.
After signing up we will assign you an ‘easy’ or ‘intermediate’ project to get started on. Login to get started:
- Write and submit 2 texts. Check your “my tasks” report and wait until both are approved.
- Write and submit 5 more texts and wait until all are approved.
- Continue writing until you have 100 EUR in approved payments.

Wordapp is a free word-processing platform that makes it simple and fast to write or source any type of text. If you have questions, you can check our FAQ, join a workshop or use the live chat to contact us. Most new Wordappers want to know:
- How I get paid?
We pay at least once a week to PayPal for all texts that have been accepted by the publisher. We will reach out to you to get your PayPal. - What happens after I submit a text?
After you submit a text it is automatically checked by a plagiarism scan. Then an editor looks at your text to make sure there are no spelling/grammar mistakes, that you have followed the instructions and that the tone is correct. After the editor submits a text there is a publisher who gives the final ‘okay’. Editors are promoted based on their quality score, publishers are provided by the clients. - Is there more work?
Definitely! We’re committed to making sure there is always work available. In most work we have regular work, and we try to provide 150 EUR of work per week to all verified writers by the end of Q2 2016. That’s why you should hurry up and get verified!
When you are a verified writer
Once you are a verified writer you will see all available tasks in your language and you can work as much or as little as you want on all tasks in Wordapp. You get paid once a week. The faster you become a verified writer, the better for your quality score .
