Wordapp Improvements 18 May 2018
To make Wordapp an even better experience for you, we regularly update the app. Our updates include new features, performance improvements, and bug fixes. Below is a description of the latest features and bug fixes we have been working on for you from Sprint 77. As always, thanks for using Wordapp!
Free version
- Our business account balance development is going smoothly, and we will push the preliminary version of this functionality in the next few days
- Business accounts accounts now have a balance separate from the writer/editor balance that account owners will use to place content orders
- We added a new section to the business account settings page to manage this balance
- The owner of the business account is now an admin of the team by default
- Users no longer need to login to accept invitations
Template Builder
- Users can now save custom instructions to their accounts. They can now easily apply recurring instructions to items on different templates
- Custom instructions are language-specific by storing a different custom instruction group each template language on our database
- The template is now created server-side, which results in greater flexibility and scaling
- We added a new item type “Embedded” to the template so that unique HTML elements such as iframe can be represented in the template
A/B Testing and New Signin/Signup Page
- We have launched A/B testing and published our new signin and signup pages for half of our users to see
