Wordapp Improvements 6 February 2018

To make Wordapp an even better experience for you, we regularly update the app. Our updates include new features, performance improvements, and bug fixes. Below is a description of the latest features and bug fixes we have been working on for you from Sprint 70!  As always, thanks for using Wordapp!

One Copyscape to rule them all, and in (and out) of the Private Index bind them!

We are happy to announce that our plagiarism check mechanism has come a long way…  apologies to all content pirates in Wordapp, but SEO content must be unique! From now on, Wordapp will not only perform plagiarism checks against content that already exists online, it will also check against pre-published texts within a project from Copyscape’s private index! With this feature, we are solving the problem of writers (or editors for that matter) that plagiarize sections of texts throughout a project before those texts get published. Because once a plagiarized text is published it’s too late!

Now Wordapp clients can add the Copyscape API credentials from their very own Copyscape account

Copyscape is a powerful plagiarism check tool. And Wordapp just made it even more powerful for our clients. With this update, our clients can connect their own Copyscape account so their own private index of texts are used to check for plagiarism. Please note, for now, Wordapp Admins must add/change Copyscape credentials on behalf of our clients.

Copyscape Automatic Upload

We give our clients three new options when they want to add their text to their Copyscape private index (writer submit update/editor submit update/publisher submit update)
